Kokomo Tanning
Kokomo Tanning - If you're looking for a Kokomo Tanning product, spray tanning is the easiest and safest way to get a healthy, dark, and sexy tan. It requires no sun and is a very safe alternative to going to tanning beds which are very unsafe. The American Academy of Dermatologist, The Skin Cancer Foundation, and The American Medical Association all recommend a fabulous kokomo spray tan.
Kokomo Tanning - At our Kokomo Tanning Salon, we'll apply a fine mist of solution to the skin using an airbrush. The active ingredient in the spray tanning solution is called Dihydroxyacetone [DHA]. DHA was approved by the FDA in the 1970’s and was added to the list of approved cosmetic ingredients. It is found in numerous make-ups and lotions. DHA does not damage the skin, and is considered a safe skin coloring agent and nutritional supplement. There is no known toxicity and allergic reactions are very rare.
DHA is a simple carbohydrate that is often derived from sugar beets and sugar cane.
DHA only penetrates the first (dead) layer of skin in which it reacts with the amino acids and produces a tan color on these skin cells.
